Kashmiri Handicraft on the purse

On this occasion I am here posting a new pretty purse which my mom got from Kashmir , well she got it as a gift and since I liked it gave it to me ❤ It looks so beautiful 😀

It has those Kashmiri handworks done and those who know stitching or knitting would know that there is something called as “Chain Stitch” which when done  looks like a chain ( Duh !! ) 😛

It has work on both the sides 😀 how pretty ❤

If you have been living in India or have visited India , you would know that there are different styles of craftsmanship across the country. Almost all states in India have some sort of unique handicraft work associated with them , Kashmir is one such place 🙂

Most of the best knitted sweaters and shawls can be found in Kashmir . Also they have such a beautiful work that a Shawl called “Shahtoosh” is done so finely that it can pass through a wedding ring .. Wow!!!!

The little purse here is around 15cm I guess and the body is made of jute . The work is done with rough wool and completely handmade 🙂 I thought I did share a few picture with you all 🙂 I hope you guys like it too 🙂 If you are visiting Kashmir or planning to don’t forget to get some of the local handicrafted clothings , bags and caps !! 🙂 ❤
