Review, Swatches and FOTD : Maybelline Candy Wow Baby Lips

Hey Lovely ladies,

Have you girls heard that Maybelline New York India has launched a new range of Baby Lips called as “Candy Wow”???? Initially , I thought it is going to be something really similar to their other Baby Lips that they have but to my surprise it was nothing like that .

From the packaging to the finish , everything is really different from the other Baby Lips.This one is not tiny and compact like Baby Lips but its looks more like a lip crayon and smells like candy 😛 Does that even make sense?

In this range we have 5 flavors and colors namely Raspberry ,Mixed Berry,Orange ,Cherry and Peach.   This range claims to be a lip-balm that instantly shows a change and its extremely hydrating , here I am investigating on those claims 😉

 

The shade that I have got is ORANGE and it definitely smells like orange candy . This lip-balm is really dangerous for people like me who loveeeeee sugar candies . The flavor and the smell is typical to that of a candy , pity its not an eatable 😛

Personally , I love the glossy finish and even though its not as compact and handy as the usual baby lips package , its equally good ; in fact better!!

Pros :

1. The smell is AMAZING
2. The finish is smooth and glides well
3. The pen packaging is really pretty
4. It has good coverage for a balm , all I needed was one swipe to get a stain
5. Its affordable
6. It does what it claims (which is the most important thing for us buyers )
7. It is enriched with Vitamin E which makes the lips look softer and healthier
8. The taste is yummmmmmm!!!!!!! 😛

Cons:

1.I feel the should introduce one in something in Matte and more of a lip stain.

2.It doesn’t stay long , the other Baby Lips do have good staying power than this one.

3. If your lips tend to dry soon , the color tends to go between the lines on the lips (EWWWW!! )

Will I recommend this ?

Yes , leaving aside few negatives I would recommend it . Do not buy all the shades , but do have few of them . For the cost they offer it , I think its a good deal.
