Review : Himalaya Premium Skin Care Range

helllooooo ladies ,

First to begin with … My first post for 2016 … ❤  Wish You All Happy New Year , on my blogging world it has been a great year 😀 Tons of Collabs , events and love 🙂 Over whelming , Thank You 🙂

2015 just got over in a flash 😦 Before we all go discussing about new year beauty revolution , I will tell you mine 😉 I wanted to take more care for my skin 😦 its gotten dry and patchy 😥 Saaaddd !!!!!!

Suddenly I get lucky and I discover the premium range by Himalaya that is loaded with four new creams ❤

I loved the very pretty box it came in , thanks Chaithra  you took lot of effort for sending it across and following it up 🙂

This premium range had 4 new creams in total :

1.Himalaya Anti-Wrinkle Cream

2.Himalaya Oil-Free Radiance Gel Cream

3.Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream

4.Himalaya Herbals Revitalizing Night Cream

Himalaya Anti-Wrinkle Cream

This one I just used once because basically I am in my early 20s and I don’t think I need this one for at-least few years now. I used them to see the texture , looks good and feels good ❤ they are really good with the texture , its moisturizing but not oily.

What the company claims :

Himalaya Anti-Wrinkle Cream gives the perfect solution for younger looking skin. The cream deeply penetrates skin and provides 3 essential benefits to keep worry lines away. It is enriched with natural extracts – Aloe Vera and Grapes which help in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizing skin and reducing age spots.

Fortified with natural ingredients like Aloe Vera which is a rich source of saccharides, it helps in keeping the skin deeply nourished. Grapes are rich in AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

What I felt :

Truly , not for me but I love the feel of it . It would be better if anyone of you guys who are in late 20s try this rather than me . I loved the texture of it and as long as its herbal , I don’t think anyone has any problem with it . The contents are herbal and it smells good , what more do you need ❤

Cost : INR 250/- for 50 grams

Rating : 4/5 (Herbal !!! <3)

Himalaya Oil-Free Radiance Gel Cream

This has become a part of my routine , I love the mild hydration it gives to the skin . It looks shiny for few minutes immediately after you use it but just after few minutes it completely gets absorbed , it does give you a dewy feel but if you don’t like it , you could apply your sun screen over it . Personally , I have fallen for this one and I would surely re-buy this cream . The consistency is good , the gel is translucent and mild on the skin ; biggest win I must say .

What the company Claims ?

Himalaya Oil-Free Radiance Gel Cream gently hydrates the skin to give an oil-free radiant glow. It is a light, gel textured cream enriched with special herbs that provide 3 essential benefits of hydration, skin radiance and quick

absorption. It is enriched with Barbary fig which has polysaccharides that is known as an essential ingredient to keep skin moisturized. Winter Melon exhibits anti-oxidant properties that keeps skin healthy, protected and rejuvenated.

What I felt :

I think non of the claims have been falsified , it had been a really beautiful and soft gel . I love the hydration power it has and its non-greasy which is the biggest win for me . I feel its suitable for all climates and not only Winter 🙂

Cost : INR 250/- for 50 grams

Rating : 4.6/5

Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream

This one I have been recommending to everyone these days 😀 I have been using this one every morning for the past 2 weeks , you see your skin look really fresh after using it . It doesn’t give you a dewy look but instead gives a very clean matte look that I personally love . It kinda works like a BB cream but its more of a mousse than a cream

What the company claims ?

Enriched with Licorice and White Dammer, it ensures 3 effective actions of hydration, lightening and clear complexion. Licorice is a known for fading the dark spots and blemishes. It is a natural source which inhibits melanin synthesis and gives brighter complexion. Whereas, White Dammer exhibits anti-oxidant properties and helps reduce mild pigmentation and spots resulting in even skin tone.

What I felt:

Basically it kinda gives a light coverage to your skin , only issue is that it doesn’t last long . You have to apply every 5 hours to look fresh . I love the texture and the smell but reapplication would be my only concern. It doesn’t sting and nor does it look oily . Big  YES!!

Cost : INR 250/- for 50 Grams

Himalaya Herbals Revitalizing Night Cream

I swear this is one of the best night creams you would find in India specially in the Herbal category . Of-lately, my skin has been getting really dry and patchy ( maybe because I am not a water baby 😦 ) so in the morning I do not look fresh . This has been a savior , the smell is floral and not really mind . I don’t mind the smell but people who are sensitive to smells should try it once in a store before buying it. Personally loved the texture , its a proper cream and its really light on the skin.

What the company claims ?

Himalaya Herbals Revitalizing Night Cream is a deep penetrating, luxurious cream that works overnight with the natural renewal cycle of skin. It provides essential benefits from ingredients sourced naturally, that leave the skin soft, supple and rejuvenated.White lily is rich in antioxidants and helps in neutralizing free radicals and Repairs daily damage. Tomato is known for its rich ingredients of flavonoids and AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and helps in cell renewal.

What I felt:

It does what it claims , this is the most simple way I could put it. The skin look non -greasy in the morning and really soft . It does little burn if your skin is too dry , I have a combination skin so mine is totally not predictable. I won’t recommend it to people who have oily skin but people who have really dry skin , this is for you. This one I am definately buying again.

Cost : INR 200/- for 50 grams

Rating : 4.5/5

This whole range I have one thing I liked in common, none of the descriptions are misleading . Yes , you won’t see a change immediately but its worth waiting for. I wouldn’t say that suddenly the marks on my skin have disappeared but yes the quality of my skin has improved leaps and bound.

Himalaya you could buy their products with your eyes close, you would remember my review on the Neem Facewash I did long time back , its still my go-to face wash 🙂

Have you guys used it yet ??? If yes , let me know your experience . If no , then go and try it 😀

You know where to find me :
