Beauty Must Have : 3 Red Nail-Paints Face-off

Hi lovelies ,

Like I promised , I am back to regular blogging . For sometime now I had this writer’s block and I really couldn’t write anything , now I am fine after I went for a holiday 😀

Coming back to my topic here , I have laid my hands on three red paints that I adore . They have very slight variations but they are equally beautiful.

 

The three red nail-paints that I will be reviewing are :

1.Lakme True Wear – Classic Siren Red (404)

2.Lakme True Wear-Freespirit Manish Malhotra (D415)

3.Loreal Paris – Red (408)

 

Lakme True Wear-Freespirit Manish Malhotra (D415)

This has to be honest my first really good red nail paint I laid hands on and I have not looked back ever since . This is more of a bridal nail color that would look really beautiful with Mehandi ❤ For me this is a perfect office wear , I prefer red the most though I don’t opt for orangish red , I do love deep reds that have a maroon or pink tinge .

Consistency : Used it lot of times and it doesn’t dry , you will not believe that it has been almost a year since I got them and they are not at all dry . Probably my most worn nail paint ❤

Suitable for : All skin tones

Suitable Occasion : I will recommend this one as a morning and evening wear

Cost : INR 100/-

Plus would be that it doesn’t easily chip off and it rather stays for about 3 to 4 days . For a budget beauty product , I think this one is a good deal.

Lakme True Wear – Classic Siren Red (404)

Like the name says , its that sultry siren red that I am sure everyone adores . This shade kinda makes me remember Marilyn Monroe , its her kind of shade . This is specially for a casual day when you do not want very bright red nor you want a deep red but a subtle red which looks chic ( And yes !! we do have so many REDs) . Again most used , I bought it before “Lakme True Wear-Freespirit Manish Malhotra (D415)” but I use both of them equally 🙂

Consistency : Its thick but doesn’t look like a paste , the brush is good and it spreads well . I love that most of the  nail-paints by Lakme stays for a long time .

Suitable for : All skin tones

Suitable Occasion : I will recommend this for a casual affair , a brunch or lunch date maybe

Cost : INR 100/-

Get it if you like to have some variation in Red .

Loreal Paris – Red (408)

This was a gift from a friend to be honest and a useful gift indeed. People who follow me or know me would know how much I love colors ❤ Red , Black and Pink being my favorite of all .This shade is more of an orangish red than a deep red . I wear it either when I attend a wedding or when I go for parties .This red is really bright , so bright that you can actually see it from a distance ( not that anyone is complaining !!) .

Consistency : Its thin but its extremely pigmented . I just apply two coats of it and I am done .I love the glossy look that it has though .

Suitable for : All skin tones

Suitable Occasion : I will recommend this special occasions where you need something bright

Cost : INR 250/-

Get it if you love red and if you are someone who has to attend lots of events .Personally I will buy if for no reason at all.
