Review : Lotus Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, 40 and 50

Hey beautiful people !!!!

It has been a long time since I updated my blog , whats more awesome than doing a review for this summer ? 😀

Summer has come and the temperature is rising in most part of India,specially if you are in South India you can feel the sun more. I have a extremely sensitive and delicate skin so for me preventing it from acute sunburn is a priority !! I would be reviewing three Sunscreens today by LOTUS HERBAL !!!!

Three of my Sun screen on this review are :

•  SAFE SUN PA++ ,SPF-30  :

 

I bought this sometime back and it had a whitish creamy texture . Thing is this is so not for me as my skin is already kinda oily and this makes it even more oily . Also you get this sheer look after application which sometimes when you sweet wears off with the sweat

If you have a skin tone from normal to dusky , this is definitely not the one for you . I would rather recommend this for either Pale or Pink skin tone , it doesn’t look made up on them .

Active Ingredients Used :

Black Plum Extract- Astringent & moisturizing.

Octyl Methoxy Cinnamate- organic UV-B Sunscreen agent.

Zinc cote- Physical sunscreen agent, micro fine Titanium dioxide – Physical sunscreen agent.

Benzophenone-3 – Excellent organic UV-A Sunscreen agent. 

Will I recommend this ?

Yes if you are living in a hot and dry place

No, If you are living in humid climate .

This one is my all time favorite. This is something that you can use it daily and it gives decent coverage too . I can call it as a sunscreen which is between a BB cream and foundation  !! Gives you ultimate sheer effect  and the totally look natural . People like me who have a combination type skin , this one is the best to buy 😀

Apart from this , it protects you against both UVA and UVB rays and it has PA +++ , thumbs up if you are looking for a Sunscreen that gives complete Matt finish .

They have given that it suits all skin type , but that is not true !! It wont suit you if you have dry skin . Also it gives a natural look only to people having Dusky to Brown complexion , people with extremely fair complexion can use it once in a while as it tends to look caked up on them 😦

Will I recommend this ?

YES!! I  love it and it is a great but for the price .It gives great coverage and doesn’t look greasy even when you wear it the whole day 😀

Birch Extract- Rejuvenating, reduces skin oiliness & refines skin pores.

Mallow Extract- Soothing & anti-inflammatory.

Hops Extract- Astringent properties.

•  UV Screen Matte Gel , SPF-50  :

Lotus Herbal Sunscreen SPF 50

This product absolutely delivers whatever it promises . You won’t feel greasiness , dullness and gives perfect Matte finish to the skin. In addition to this , it makes the skin look light and natural . With SPF  50 and natural ingredient you can feel assured that you won’t face a skin problem with this one . Only thing I miss in this one is that it lacks giving us good coverage ,maybe good for people with flawless skin but for someone like me who gets extreme sunburns / tanlines , this is not your product then.

It is the most versatile one and it completely suits all skin types 😀 It would suit any complexion as it is a clear gel !!

Will I recommend this ?

Obviously I would , Satisfies every need of yours and it feels good on the skin !! 😀
